Suga-T is a female national entertainment legend from Vallejo, CA respected as “The First Lady” of the Bay Area’s first family of rap featuring Suga-T, her brothers E40, D Shot and cousin B-Legit. She is also admired for holding a “Guinness” book friendly record of holding the biggest brother and sister Hip Hop duet ever in history titled “Sprinkle Me” with her legendary brother E40. This trend setting icon has collectively sold over 20,000,000 albums in almost three decades and is the biggest selling west coast female Hip Hop artist today. Originally, Suga-T was coached as an executive and presented to the nation serving as a key talent in her family record label “SWI” Records. Raised with five siblings and the only female in her family, she endured through the elements that can be presented in an industry where males are mostly favored and the coaching proved valuable. SWI Records style of business set trends for local entertainment companies, artists and successful entities today. They where known for selling records out the trunk and managed to go “Ghetto Gold,” without any radio play and eventually signed a joint venture deal with “Jive Records.” Presently, they are still holding the thrown of creating charting hits like “Sprinkle Me,” “Hurricane,” “Captain Save Em,” along with hit sound tracks like, “Sugar Daddy,” “Fat Beach,” “Obstacles,” “Training Day” and many more. Suga-T has had the privilege of working with underground artist to commercial legends such as 2Pac, Michael Henderson, Antonio Fargus, Cee Cee Penniston and many more... Suga-T is a renaissance woman. She is a multifaceted talent of acting, singing, rapping, producing, writing and publishing. Suga-T is well known for her sassy, soulful, strong yet inspiring messages and gestures such as “Ooh, Ooh Ooh!, Suga Suga and Sprinkle Me,” spoken all over the world today. She was a regular guest acting/voiceover star on “MTV’s Lyricist Lounge Show” for the first successful season, main actress in the “BET’s Obstacles Movie,” a featured actress in “Maliboodie,”produced by Brian Hooks, a recently presented actress in an upcoming film “What are the chances,” acted in the “Touch Play,” currently hosting the “Bay Area Block Report, talk show host on “Rapping With Suga-T,” setting future music, film and TV projects, along with many other TV/ film projects. She is a very astute business woman of over 18 years founding Hip Hop Mom Film/ Productions, Suga-T Fragrances and the “Be About It Movement.” Suga-T Fragrances was found by Suga-T during a domestic violence relationship in a transitional time of her life and career. She operates the company in a non-traditional format that takes social responsibility empowering youth families and communities to be healthy, safe and sufficient, while making the products available exclusively. Suga-T is a mentor, advocate, expert and keynote speaker presenting tools acquired from her education and experience for The “Be About It Movement.” During her long-term career, she made a sacrifice and went back to school and completed her AA, BA and MA. She considers herself ghetto survived (renewed thinking), while she appreciates the positives from the ghetto, helping her become the woman she is today. She was recently awarded a Humanitarian Award in Los Angeles from the “Underground Girls Of Hip Hop,” Best Female Rap Legend and has acquired, Gold and Platinum albums along with many more awards and certificates through the years. She received a recent invite from the Eden Area Chamber of Commerce to serve as the leader of the EA’s Professional Women’s Network. She is proud of her new upcoming album “Ghetto Survived” that her rap fans have been patiently waiting on. The video and music digital soundtrack is slated to release 1st quarter 2015 and the lyrics highlight the “unique” elements of the ghetto that helped her overcome and endure life challenges, while helping her become the renaissance woman that she is today. Recently Suga-T released a digital album soundtrack “Unbreakable Me” that shares her life story. The soundtrack was a part of an empowerment campaign presented in a keynote message for a personal development called “Unbreakable.”
