Jay Jackson is one of the busiest vocalists in the Los Angeles area performing in more than 80 live jazz, Soul and R&B events a year. His Nu-Lu Band is known for it's stunning tribute to the great baritones Lou Rawls and Barry White. Jay has performed on bills with some of the biggest names in jazz history including Nancy Wilson, Pancho Sanchez, Shiela E., Oleta Adams, Barbara Morrison, and more. Jay jas played as the news broadcaster Perd Hadley on Parks and Recreation. He has portrayed a TV anchor and reporter in 21 other roles on TV and film, including Scandal, Revenge and Pretty Little Liars. Jay pulls from experience, having had 22 years of work as an actual broadcast news journalist. He is also a jazz musician and owns a company that helps future broadcast journalists with their reels in Los Angeles, California.
