Dr. Murray has over 25 years of experiencing in education. She has taught all grade levels and all subjects. In both public and private schools. She has taught as a professor several courses in Psychology and Human Relations. Her recent accomplishment included researching, designing, and structuring a private educational clinic, Moments of Inspiration by Murray. The educational clinic included a five level evaluation. The complete assessment included a medical, psychological, academic, nutritional, and athletic assessments for students K through 12th grade. The results of implementing the assessments allows parents, students, and teachers to gain a better understanding of the student in five different areas in order to enhance their overall success in a learning environment. Dr. Murray has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, a Masters Degree in Education, a Masters Degree in Divinity, and Doctorate in Education

Guest: Mark Allen Felton, saxophonist and musician extraordinnaire

This multi-faceted musician is a native of Chicago, Illinois and has made a name for himself as one of the smoothest saxophonist around! At the tender age of 11, he began pursuing a musical pathway that was inspired by such artists as Grover Washington Jr., Kool & The Gang and Earth, Wind and Fire. By the time he graduated from high school, Panther had received numerous awards for his musical excellence including a scholarship to Texas Southern University in Houston.

While attending TSU Panther played in the school’s jazz ensemble and other local bands. Soon after, he formed his own band, Electric Storm, which featured Terry Ellis from R&B super group En Vogue. Panther went on to co-produce an album for the legendary track star Carl Lewis that was released in Japan.

Panther soon relocated to Los Angeles and began building a reputation for himself appearing in videos with various R&B and Rap hitmakers. He has shared the stage with many artists including: Al Jarreau, Oleta Adams, Chaka Khan, Kenny G., Billy Preston, Bobby Womack, Carl Thomas, percussionist Ndugu Chancler, comedian George Wallace, author Neal Donald Walsh ("Conversations With God") and motivational speaker Les Brown.

In addition to his smooth Jazz career, Panther has also built quite a reputation in the Gospel arena earning two 2003 Stellar Award nominations for Best New Artist Of The Year and Urban/Inspirational CD Of The Year for his Gospel Stroll CD and being voted the Instrumentalist Of The Year by the Southern California Gospel Announcers Guild.

Panther has also traveled abroad performing in such countries as Japan, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Panther released his first smooth Jazz CD On The Prowl on his own record label, Miõn Records. Panther has written well over a hundred songs including the theme song for the nationally syndicated radio show Radioscope. Not just another saxophonist, Panther is an artist you have to experience.

About the Author

Jamal Watters was born and raised in Oakland, CA. He was raised by his mother, a single parent, in which he credits all of his early teachings about love, respect, and appreciation for women. Jamal first became interested in relationships through watching his mother struggle as a single parent. He could not help but imagine what life would’ve been like for his mother if she had a loving and devoted husband by her side to help with raising him and his sister. He realized at a very early age that relationships are a central part of who we are, and what we observe and experience from early on in life plays a very important role in how we deal with relationships as we grow older. And that’s why Jamal strongly believes that healthy relationships equal healthy families.

As a youth growing up in Oakland and being raised by a single parent, Jamal was faced with many challenges. But it was through the grace of God, his mother’s guidance, and his love for football that he was able to overcome these challenges. Although Jamal garnered much attention while playing football, he used this talent as catalyst to further his education. Jamal earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Work. He also holds a clinical license to practice therapy, in which he currently counsels couples on relationships. His basic approach to therapy is Keepin’ it Real. Jamal believes that his real and genuine approach to working with people is why is so effective. He also employs a principal that he learned from football in counseling couples and his own life, which is “when things get too complicated, go back to the basic.” Jamal believes that a lot of times we make things a lot more complicated than they have to be and we forget about doing the little things such as communicating, compromising, not taking each other for granted, dating, working together to achieve common goals, and so forth. Jamal quotes his mother as saying, “the same thing it took to get yo’ baby hooked, it’s going to take the same thing to keep him or her.”

Although Jamal is a licensed therapist, he contributes most of his insight into relationships through real life experiences. His first teachings were from his mother and later on observing his sister in her relationships. He then expanded his knowledge of relationships through various women he encountered in school, work, and from his own experiences. Jamal has been happily married over 16 years and with the same woman 24 years. He believes the longevity has with his wife has given him invaluable insight. It is because of these experiences that Jamal wanted to fill a need that he felt was missing… the male perspective on relationships. Combined with insight from real life experiences, Jamal infuses his background in sociology and psychology to give women real and relatable concepts on relationships. It is Jamal’s strong affinity for women that stems from his mother and later his wife and daughter that made him want to write a book that he hopes will serve as a useful guide for all women.

Three men each from different areas of Southern California, Hawthorne, Compton, and Riverside came together to Praise God on Hard hitting beats and drum tracks with a church boy meets street Sound, Measure of Faith is being used as vessels to deliver the Words of the Holy Scripture to the streets and ultimately the world. Under their Gospel Rap or Christian hip hop genre they have been able to catch the ears of major names in the underground rap game. Frank Nitty of Grittystyle Records said, “That someone is bound to pick them up with their catchy hooks and unique sound”. Operating under Tailored Music Entertainment- Measure of Faith is making noise that the church and the streets have been embracing. Measure of Faith opened for the Grittystyle network party in Riverside, setting the tone of the function by blessing the Party with Their Song “Blessed in the City”. They are currently performing at churches in the Southern California area and even local venues with promoter names such as Vic Camp, Ric Hard and Huncho. They Currently Have a C.D. circulating with 5 songs on it and it is labeled The Whole Armor of God with tracks, “Pressin”,Hail to The King” and “Oh Lord”. This C.D. is scheduled to be made into a full album as we speak. These Three men of God are on a mission to lift the Lord and Elevate people through powerful word and scripture based music. Measure of Faith group members Mario “MiraMar” Vaughn, Real Testimoni (Cliffton Huxstable) and Deacon K.T.(Kevin Thomas) joined together after completing their first track together “Wade in The Water”written by Real Testimoni, produced and Co-written by MiraMar back in February of 2014. Deacon K.T MiraMar,and Real Testimoni attend local churches in the Inland Empire. Miramar is the owner and Founder of Tailored Music One Ent. , which reserves the right to release all Measure of Faith material. With over 20 years of recording, writing, and production experience MiraMar finally found his niche through Gospel Rap. Real Testomoni with his unique singing,rapping, and writing style has been doing music for decades and he is ambitious to work with Tailored Music One Entertainment and other artist. Deacon K.T. hits you with his southern Baptist prayers and his raspy rhymes that will catch the ear of anyone seeking the word.
They all intend to show people that there is nothing wrong with lifting your hands and proclaiming that you love Jesus and to follow his holy teachings that can help elevate us spiritually.
